About Us

Greg specializes in treating anxiety and PTSD. He also enjoys working with couples. He is trained in EMDR, Existential, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and is a Certified Microcurrent Neurofeedback Technician. He has additional training in Enneagram Personality Inventory which he uses as one of the support tools for helping clients dive deeper into self discovery.  Outside of his weekly practice, Greg also leads retreats and is available for public speaking engagements. 

Greg is the owner and founder of Down to Earth Counseling. He is a father of four, and a singer/song writer. He plays locally with the band Tarred and Feathered. 

Will specializes in treating depression, anxiety and PTSD. He also works with couples and children. He is trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Problem Solving Therapy. He has been a social worker for 20 years and has been employed with the Department of Human Resources, DCH Regional Medical Center and the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Will has been married for 22 years and has two daughters. He enjoys the outdoors and plays guitar with the local band Tarred and Feathered.   

Dr. Leslie opened her holistic practice in 2008 with the express purpose of helping people feel better—physically and emotionally—by embracing a gentle, natural approach to self-care.  Leslie blended her degrees in Education and Professional Counseling with her love of natural health care to enlighten others about the benefits of a holistic lifestyle. She is an ordained minister practicing spiritual and life direction. Leslie earned her PhD in Natural Health Sciences with extensive study and dissertation on the gut/brain connection.  Areas of expertise include anxiety/panic disorder, intestinal health, adrenal fatigue,, nutrition and  mindset/meditation.. Leslie offers individual & group consulting,  Individual, Couple and Family Enneagram Coaching, as well as corporate lunch and learns, yoga instruction and guided meditations.

Kathryn specializes in anxiety, depression & adjustment disorders. She enjoys working with adults and adolescents. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral and Existential therapy and is certified to incorporate the Diagnostic Interview for Anxiety, OCD and Related Neuropsychiatric Disorders. She has a background in kinesiology that allows her to take a holistic approach to mental health, integrating physical and psychological well-being.

Jennifer is our Certified IASIS Technician for our Nashville, TN location.  She has extensive experience in the field of functional medicine and nutrition. Her husband is a holistically trained chiropractic physician and together they work in serving our Nashville clients with a unique approach to brain health and wellness.

Christy handles our scheduling and Insurance Claims. She has a  25 year career in long term care nursing facilities in  multiple roles from activities, social work, marketing, regional sales. Christy holds company  wide credentialing/ and managed care contracting. We are excited to have her at DTEC!
